Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist

The role:

The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the quality and
reliability of our products through comprehensive testing and analysis. The role
requires a keen eye for identifying defects and an ability to collaborate with
cross-functional teams to implement necessary improvements. This role will play a
critical part in delivering high-quality solutions to our customers and maintaining our
positive reputation!

Key accountabilities:

• Conduct thorough and systematic testing of software applications, websites, or other digital products to identify defects, inconsistencies, and potential areas for improvement.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify functionality, usability, and performance.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure test coverage meets business needs.
• Document and communicate test results, defects, and testing progress effectively to relevant team members and management.
• Work closely with the development team to reproduce and isolate reported issues for timely resolution.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and standards to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Participate in the review of project requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide valuable feedback early in the development process.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements in testing methodologies and tools.

What you need:

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

• An experienced QA specialist, with proven experience in software quality assurance or testing, including both manual and automated testing techniques.
• Familiarity with software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Proficiency in test case management and defect tracking tools.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, PHP or Go is desirable
• but not mandatory.
