Dear Easy Crypto Investors,

We’ve been writing blog entries to build knowledge and confidence in your navigation through the cryptocurrency markets. At Easy Crypto (EC), we aspire to make all things crypto easy for you. Because we want to make a real difference in how people manage their wealth through cryptocurrencies, we’ve been diligently growing our talent pool.

With all of these exciting changes to our Easy Crypto global family, we thought why not put together a Q&A piece for you to know a little more about us and what we do.

Here they are, let’s meet with the amazing people behind Easy Crypto’s success!

Andrew, Head of Easy Crypto Australia

Andrew - Head of Easy Crypto Australia

What do you do at Easy Crypto?
I’m the Managing Director of Easy Crypto Australia and look to make it easier for our Australian customers to invest in cryptocurrencies.

What are three cryptocurrency coins/tokens that are on your radar, and why so?
Bitcoin — I think you could call me a ‘Bitcoin maximalist’, in that I believe the genesis story, popularity and innovation of the first-ever crypto will triumph above all else, long term.

NEO — A token which has a lot of fundamental positives. It is a flexible technology utilising smart contracts, produces passive ‘GAS’ for holding, and is on the radar of the most populated nation on Earth.

AWC — A utility token that works for hand in hand with the Atomic Wallet. It also allows users to ‘stake’ tokens for a generous return. The wallet is created by the ex-CEO of Changelly and looks to have a good user interface and growth potential.

We make crypto easy.

Invest in the future.

What’s your ‘go-to’ for crypto tips/news/info?
I’m a huge fan of Stephan Livera’s podcast. He discusses a lot of technical aspects of Bitcoin and it’s infrastructure, whilst also managing to simplify it for newcomers if they had just picked up an episode. The guests he has are varied, fascinating and relevant.

Angela, Compliance & Design at Easy Crypto Global

Angela - Compliance & Design at Easy Crypto Global

What do you do at Easy Crypto?
I do a mixture of graphic design, compliance and customer support.

What are three cryptocurrency coins/tokens that are on your radar, and why so?
BTC price is good to watch as a proxy indicator of what the whole market is doing; I like Stellar, and I want to learn more about Cardano.

Lloyd, Head of Emerging Markets at Easy Crypto Global

Lloyd - Head of Emerging Markets at Easy Crypto Global

What do you do at Easy Crypto?
I lead our Emerging Markets team, mainly our South African team. And more recently, team EC Nigeria.

What are three cryptocurrency coins/tokens that are on your radar, and why so?
Ethereum, CRO from crypto.com and AWC due to Atomic Wallet.

What’s your ‘go-to’ for crypto tips/news/info?
Cointelegraph.

Byron, Customer Support at Easy Crypto South Africa

Byron - Customer Support at Easy Crypto South Africa

What do you do at Easy Crypto?
I help out with the EC South Africa help desk and write educational content articles for our readers.

What are three cryptocurrency coins/tokens that are on your radar, and why so?
The only coin I’m paying attention to is Bitcoin.

In my opinion, no other coin comes close to Bitcoin in terms of scarcity, security, decentralisation, immutability, etc. I think that over the long term Bitcoin will outperform every other cryptocurrency. I also believe that Bitcoin is one of the best ways to exit the current financial system and all the madness currently going on (money printers going brrrrrrr), so my goal is to consistently stack sats (a.k.a stacking Satoshis; i.e accumulating Bitcoins).

What’s your ‘go-to’ for crypto tips/news/info?
I think that everyone should read ‘The Bitcoin Standard’ by Saifedean Ammous. I didn’t truly understand Bitcoins value proposition until I read this book.

Once you understand the history of money (which is basically what the book is about), you really start seeing how Bitcoin is the best form of money we’ve ever had. I also really enjoy the ‘Tales From The Crypto’ (TFTC) podcast, it’s a great way to stay up to date with all the news and events in the crypto space.

Alif, Developer at Easy Crypto Global

Alif - Developer at Easy Crypto Global

What do you do at Easy Crypto?
I work on improving the technology side of things for Easy Crypto.

What are three cryptocurrency coins/tokens that are on your radar, and why so?
Bitcoin, Ethereum and Dogecoin. Personally, I find these three coins are amazing, and they’re popular.

What’s your ‘go-to’ for crypto tips/news/info?
Nothing in particular, I typically browse for crypto-related news articles online.

Lisa, Social Media Champion at Easy Crypto Global

Lisa - Social Media Champion at Easy Crypto Global

What do you do at Easy Crypto?
I manage all things social media at EC — Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, Trust Pilot.

What are three cryptocurrency coins/tokens that are on your radar, and why so?
Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin.

Bitcoin and Ethereum because they look promising.

Doge, just for the fun and hype.

What’s your ‘go-to’ for crypto tips/news/info?
Cointelegraph and Coindesk.

Alex, Compliance at Easy Crypto Global

Alex - Compliance at Easy Crypto Global

What do you do at Easy Crypto?
I help to keep Easy Crypto compliant and make sure our customers are staying safe. Part of my job scope is verifying customers during our onboarding process, I also help educate our customers around issues on fraud and scams.

What are three cryptocurrency coins/tokens that are on your radar, and why so?
Bitcoin, Ethereum and US Tether — not for me personally, but I spend so much time learning about these (as they are the most commonly used for scams) so haven’t really had time to look into anything else! If I was pushed for a personal answer besides those three, I would probably say Dogecoin,  EOS and maybe Ripple?

What’s your ‘go-to’ for crypto tips/news/info?
In terms of general information, the Easy Crypto Help & Learn sites are by far unbeatable for me! Otherwise for news and tips …

1) I listen to “The Missing Crypto-Queen”  podcast. It is amazing!!! Not only does it have a super interesting story that will be helpful for customers to understand how the idea of crypto can be “misused”. It has a great explanation of basic level cryptocurrency concepts — I’m a big fan.

2) I sometimes read news sites like Coindesk or Cointelegraph

Evan, Customer Care Manager at Easy Crypto Global

Evan - Customer Care Manager at Easy Crypto Global

What do you do at Easy Crypto?
I’m the Customer Care Manager so it’s likely that you’ll be spinning a yarn with me if you reach out to the team for a hand.

What are three cryptocurrency coins/tokens that are on your radar, and why so?
Not to sound like Max Keiser but I love some Bitcoin. Aside from Ethereum, my third choice would be Cardano. I really like the project and how Charles Hoskinson gives constant updates on YouTube whether something is running ahead of schedule or behind.

What’s your ‘go-to’ for crypto tips/news/info?
I rate the ‘Bad Crypto’ podcast for some pretty solid infotainment.

YouTube is also a great resource for visual guides when you get stuck somewhere.

Funnily enough, another good resource is Reddit. The crypto community there is actually not full of trolls like the rest of the site and when they do appear, they’re really easy to spot.

If you are willing to fork out a little cash, Udemy also has some really awesome courses on getting started with crypto.

Miguel, Digital Marketing Director at Easy Crypto Global

Miguel - Digital Marketing Director at Easy Crypto Global

What do you do at Easy Crypto?
I coordinate the Easy Crypto’s Marketing team.

What are three cryptocurrency coins/tokens that are on your radar, and why so?
Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Ripple.

Bitcoin due to its known reputation.

For Ethereum, I can see a lot of potential due to future cyber-infrastructure development supported by the Ethereum network.

Ripple is also a known cryptocurrency, and that’s basically why.

What’s your ‘go-to’ for crypto tips/news/info?
Mainly CoinDesk and the Easy Crypto team’s Slack channel.

Sahir, Developer at Easy Crypto Global

Sahir - Developer at Easy Crypto Global

What do you do at Easy Crypto?
I write codes for our Easy Crypto systems.

What are three cryptocurrency coins/tokens that are on your radar, and why so?
Bitcoin, Ethereum & PAXG.

Why? Because I’m doing development work that involves these three coins.

What’s your ‘go-to’ for crypto tips/news/info?
Anything would be great as I’m learning how cryptocurrency works in terms of transacting with them.

Sean, Project Manager at Easy Crypto Global

Sean - Project Manager at Easy Crypto Global

What do you do at Easy Crypto?
I’m a PM trying to keep everything and everyone on track on the EC rocket ship we’re building so that more people can be part of this crypto revolution.

What are three cryptocurrency coins/tokens that are on your radar, and why so?
Siacoin is neat. Decentralized storage. Great committed team, open, transparent and just delivering.

Bitcoin of course because everything is tied to it. The saying goes ‘a rising tide lifts all boats’: when Bitcoin rises, so do others and vice versa.

And privacy coins like Monero and Zcash always pick my interest due to the fascinating technology behind it.

What’s your ‘go-to’ for crypto tips/news/info?
Too many … But to add on those that have not been mentioned by others, Decrypt, NewsBTC, Cryptocoinnews.

Janine aka J-coin, Co-founder at Easy Crypto Global

Janine aka J-coin - Co-founder at Easy Crypto Global

What do you do at Easy Crypto?
Everything! From helping out with customers navigate through their cryptocurrency purchases, all the way through to strategizing how Easy Crypto can help more people access financial equality and freedom.

What are three cryptocurrency coins/tokens that are on your radar, and why so?
Ethereum — as the potential for Decentralised Finance projects (DeFi) is so huge, and Ethereum is a powerful platform for this.

IOTA — I love the idea that free, instant micropayments could unleash whole economies that we’ve never imagined in the past.

VeChain — because I bought some ages ago and I’m still hoping for some gains!

What’s your ‘go-to’ for crypto tips/news/info?
Cointelegraph for news, Medium for opinion pieces and the Easy Crypto team Slack channel for all the things I don’t know the answer to!

As you can probably see, some of us have been in the crypto game for a looong time, and others are only just starting out! But as the EC team shows, cryptocurrency investment can be for anyone, and it’s never too late to get started on your crypto journey 🙂

If there’s something crypto-related you want to learn more about, write to us and let us know!

In the meantime, keep calm and ‘crypto on’,
