Your Easy Crypto Wallet is what’s called a “cold wallet”. This means that it is completely offline and impervious to any attacks or hacking. It is encrypted with the latest AES 256-bit CBC encryption. For the safest storage, put it on a USB drive, and store it in a physically secure location.

How to open your Easy Crypto wallet?

You can start by opening the “completed order” email from Easy Crypto, and save your Easy Crypto wallet file to your computer or any device. Then head to https://easycrypto.com/xx/unlock to open it up. Use the pass phrase that you wrote down when you ordered.

Here are the complete steps to open your Easy Crypto wallet:

1. Visit the Easy Crypto Open Wallet website
You can access via this link – https://easycrypto.com/xx/unlock

2. Select your Wallet file
This is a .ecp file that you received from Easy Crypto via email, after your order was completed. The default filename is “Easy Crypto [YOUR ORDER ID] – [DATE].ecp”. Make sure you have saved this file to your computer first!

  • For iPhone or iPad users, you can follow the steps below, after this section.
  • For Windows users, you can watch this video.

3. Enter your pass phrase

  • Your passphrase is 7 words. It is all lowercase with a single space between each word.
  • Double-check that you have entered the words correctly. Our most frequent helpdesk request is due to passphrases being misspelt. All our passphrase words are common English words. If you are unsure on spelling, please double-check the words in your passphrase using a dictionary.

4. Click Unlock

How to Open Easy Crypto Wallet on iPhone or iPad?

There is a special reason to have your crypto wallet easily accessible on mobile application — because, why not? With today’s trends that everything can be done through one-two simple clicks, that everything can be done from everywhere, there is no single reason to not have our wallet isolated from mobile applications.

Now, both the iPhone and iPad are two examples of mobile devices that are often used by people. So let’s see how to connect Easy Crypto Wallet to those two devices.

As the iPhone and iPad don’t have local storage, you have to take an extra step first, and save your Portfolio or Easy Crypto Wallet file from your email to a storage application — like Dropbox, Google Drive, or iCloud.

  1. Save your Easy Crypto Wallet file

Click on the Easy Crypto Wallet attachment in your email, and choose Dropbox, Google Drive, or iCloud. Save it to a folder in that app.

Now that you already know how to open your crypto wallet on iPhone and iPad, please remember it also means that you have to maintain the access to your iPhone or iPad is secure. You can do this by keeping your phone safe and stay in your possession, so does the public and private key; backup your wallet regularly; keep your software up to date, so you can always have the latest security enhancements available, and add extra security layers.

Verifying your balance

To verify that your balance exists, you can use an online balance checker. Put ONLY your receive address into the balance checking websites, NOT your private key. You’ll find these addresses inside your Easy Crypto Wallet. We have a list of some reliable balance checkers in this article: “How to verify your balance” – go check them now and make notes!

Please be aware that it may take several hours before the funds appear at your address – this depends on how fast the exchanges send it.

How do I send my coins to an exchange or another wallet?

If you wish to spend the coins in your Easy Crypto Wallet or transfer them elsewhere, you’ll need to use your private key for that. You’ll find the private key inside your wallet.

Follow our guides on how to move your cryptocurrency to a different wallet, so you can do without confusion!
