Easy Crypto is aware of the recently disclosed security issue relating to the “Log4j” vulnerability (CVE-2021-44228) and can confirm that Easy Crypto servers are not directly impacted. We’ll continue to work with all our providers to ensure they’re also secure and actively monitor this issue.

We know it’s not all about us though and you may be concerned about your laptops, phones, software, iCloud etc. Here are some tips to keep you protected from this vulnerability!

  • Check your devices’ operating systems (laptops, phones and routers) are up to date, as well as all of your software, we know for example that Minecraft was vulnerable.
  • Ensure you have Antivirus Software installed on any laptops.
  • For any specific software you might use, check the provider’s website to see if they have issued an update on this security issue (hint: searching the provider’s name + CVE-2021-44228 might be the quickest way to find this). Some providers like Microsoft, IBM and Oracle are already working on issuing patches.

If there is any other way we can support you, please feel free to get in touch! And should anything change we will report it here.
